L&T Construction Secures T&D Orders Collectively Worth 1,000-2,500 Crore
Larsen & Toubro’s Construction arm has secured orders worth Rs. 1,000 crore to Rs. 2,500 crore in the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) segment.
L&T Construction has won an EPC order to develop a 90 MW floating solar project at Omkareshwar Reservoir, Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh.
The infra giant will also be executing developmental works for electricity distribution infrastructure in western Uttar Pradesh under the Revamped Reforms-linked Distribution Scheme (RDSS). Asset mapping using Geospatial Information System (GIS) will be employed for the project.
Overseas orders secured by L&T Construction include an order for laying 400KV & 225KV transmission lines in North Africa, and an order for building a 132KV substation in Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia.
