LAPP Inaugurates its Third Indian Production Facility in Dharuhera

LAPP India, the Indian subsidiary of Germany-based LAPP Gruppe, inaugurated its third manufacturing facility in India, in Haryana’s Dharuhera. LAPP India now has manufacturing facilities in Bhopal, Bengaluru, and Dharuhera.

Move Targeted towards Enhancing Customer Proximity
Through this new manufacturing facility, LAPP India is targeting to achieve a better proximity to its customers in North India. The Dharuhera facility will provide customised solutions to its customers, as well as cable accessories to go along with LAPP’s cable solutions.

Mr. Matthias Lapp, CEO of LAPP Group, was present at the inauguration of the new production facility in Dharuhera along with Mr. Sumit Mitra, MD of LAPP India, and other dignitaries.
In a separate LinkedIn post, Mr. Lapp expressed, “The bond between India and the LAPP Group is a very special one, and with the opening of our third production facility in Dharuhera, we are continuing to grow in India and the Asian region”. He added that this new facility will help the company provide its Indian customers with the ‘right’ solutions as per their requirements.
Customer Relations & Customised Solutions LAPP’s Strengths – LAPP India MD
At Dharuhera plant, LAPP will engage in manufacturing products specifically for the Indian market and Indian customers. Addressing the media in February 2025, Mr. Sumit Mitra, had described LAPP’s customer relations and ability to offer customised solutions as one of its greatest strengths. “More than 60 percent of the products that we sell in India have been designed for the Indian market as per the Indian specifications”, he had said.
