KEC’s FY26 Order Inflow Rs. 12,800 Cr. with New Order Wins

KEC International Ltd., an Indian EPC major in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D), civil, and railway industry segments, has secured new orders worth Rs. 1,102 crore. These orders have taken the company’s Year-To-Date (YTD) order inflow to about Rs. 12,800 crore. This information was shared by the company in its stock filing dated 6th October 2025.

KEC’s new order wins include a mandate for works on a 150 MW thermal power plant. While the company has not disclosed the name of its client, it has mentioned that this order has been received from a leading Indian private player. Commenting on this order win, Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, KEC’s MD and CEO, expressed, “The Civil business has further expanded its presence in the Buildings & Factories (B&F) segment by securing an order for civil & structural works of a thermal power plant and widened its customer base with the addition of a very reputed client”. Mr. Kejriwal’s statement also hints that this is a first-time order for KEC from this particular client.

Apart from the aforementioned civil segment order, KEC has won Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) orders through its transportation business vertical. These orders are a part of the Indian Railway’s ‘Kavach’ Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system.

On the T&D orders front, the company has secured orders to supply transmission towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas and in the Middle East. Separately, KEC’s new order wins include those for supply of various types of cables and conductors in India as well as overseas.

KEC International has set an ambitious order intake target of Rs. 30,000 crore for the ongoing fiscal, significantly higher than its FY25 order intake of Rs. 24,689 crore. Therefore, the company’s entry into Q3 FY26 with YTD orders of Rs. 12,800 crore signifies that KEC is on track to materialise its FY26 order intake target.
