KEC International Wins Rs. 1,114 Cr. of Orders in India & Overseas

KEC International Limited, a major EPC company, has secured orders collectively worth Rs. 1,114 crore through Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Civil, Railways, and Cables businesses. This information was shared by KEC in its press release dated 25th November 2024.

In India, KEC has won orders in Civil, Railways, and Cables sectors. In the Civil business, the company has secured industrial projects, while in the Railways segment, KEC has received an order for Metro Overhead Electrification (OHE) works. Additionally, KEC will be responsible for supplying various types of cables both within India and internationally.

Commenting on these wins, Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd. said “Our Civil business has diversified its customer base with the addition of reputed clients in the industrial segment. We are particularly encouraged by the Railway order in the technologically enabled segment of metros, which is a key focus area for us”.

In the T&D business, KEC has secured orders in the Middle East and the Americas. The company will undertake the installation of a 400 KV transmission line in Oman and will supply towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.

Mr. Kejriwal added that the order in Oman, along with previous orders from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, had further strengthened the company’s position in the Middle East. He further said that with these new orders, the company’s year-to-date (YTD) order inflow has reached Rs. 14,600 crore.
