KEC International Secures Various Orders Worth Rs. 1,005 Crore

KEC International announced in a press release dated 21st March 2022, that it has received new orders worth Rs. 1,005 crore for its various businesses. These orders are in the transmission, railways, civil and cables sectors.

The transmission orders received by KEC International involve supplying towers and poles to the Americas.

In the Railways sector, the company has secured orders for Over Head Electrification (OHE) and associated works. KEC has also received orders for the speed upgradation of semi-high speed rail, which includes 2 x 25 KV OHE and related works as a part of mission ‘Raftaar’, which was announced in 2016-17 Railway Budget. The company has also got an order for another composite railway project for track laying, OHE and related civil works.

The company has also received an urban infrastructure civil order for the construction of a depot-cum-workshop.

Along with these orders, KEC has also received orders for various cables both in India and overseas.

The company’s year to date (YTD) order intake has crossed Rs. 16,000 crore with these orders.
