JSW Neo Energy Signs 25-Year PPA with SECI for 230 MW Renewable Energy Project
JSW Neo Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for supplying 230 MW of Renewable Energy. The power will be sourced from a *Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project, as mentioned in the company’s stock exchange filing dated 25th July 2025.
*FDRE projects integrate renewable energy sources such as solar and wind with Energy Storage Systems (ESS) to ensure a steady and reliable supply of power.
Under the agreement, the company will supply 230 MW of power to SECI at a tariff of Rs. 4.98 per kWh. This marks JSW Neo Energy’s first PPA for an FDRE project.
Commenting on this order win, Mr. Sharad Mahendra, Joint Managing Director and CEO of JSW Energy, said, “This milestone underscores JSW Energy’s commitment to provide advanced and tailored energy solutions that address the dynamic requirements of our offtakers”.
Till date, JSW Energy has secured bids to develop 30.2 GW of Renewable Energy (RE) projects out of which 12.9 GW of RE projects are already under construction. The company also targets to achieve 30 GW of RE capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity by 2030.
