Jakson Green to Develop Rs. 22,400 Cr. Green Hydrogen & Green Ammonia Project
Jakson Green Pvt. Ltd., a part of the Noida-based Jakson Group, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rajasthan Government for development of a Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia plant. This information was given by Jakson Group in its press release dated 25th October 2022.
The proposed plant will be situated in Kota, Rajasthan, and will be developed in phases. Work on this project will begin in 2023 and is expected to be completed by 2028. Jakson Group has set a target to achieve 15,000 Tonnes Per Annum (TPA) generation of Green Ammonia by 2025 from this plant. This project, once complete, will have the capacity to generate a total of 3,65,000 TPA of Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia. The company’s release stated that in order to power this facility, an integrated hybrid power generation complex will be set up in a phased manner.
As per the MoU, Rajasthan Government will be facilitating the grant of necessary approvals and permissions required by Jakson Green for this project. Jakson Group further stated that about 32,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities will be created through this project during the various stages of development.
