Ircon Invites Tender for New Electrified Broad Gauge Line
Ircon International, a Government of India undertaking is developing new electrified broad gauge line in Chhattisgarh. The line is being developed for South-East Central Railway under East Corridor-I between Kharsia to Dharamjaygarh. The total length of this line is 74 kms. Scope of work includes civil works including earthwork and blanketing work for railway formation, minor bridges, major bridges, track linking works (including supply of sleepers and Ballast but excluding supply of rails) for the feeder lines connecting Chhal siding, Baroud siding & Durgapur siding.
The total estimated cost of project is Rs. 162.99 Crore and shall be completed in 18 months of time.
