IndianOil Appoints Mr. Arvinder Singh Sahney as its Chairman

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL or IndianOil) has announced the appointment of Mr. Arvinder Singh Sahney as the new Chairman of the company. This information was shared by Indian Oil in its stock filing dated 13th November 2024.

Mr. Sahney holds a B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI), Kanpur. He began his career at Tata Chemicals in 1992, where he worked for over a year before joining Indian Oil Corporation in 1993.

Over the course of his 31-year career with IndianOil, Mr. Sahney has held various key roles in Technical Services and Operations, including Chief Production Manager, Chief General Manager, and Executive Director.

In addition to his long tenure at IndianOil, Mr. Sahney also serves as Chairman of Terra Clean Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of IndianOil focused on sustainable solutions, and as a Director at IndOil Montney Ltd. in Canada, another wholly owned subsidiary of IndianOil.
