HFCL’s Subsidiary Wins Rs. 102 Cr. Defence Order from Indian Army

HTL Limited, a subsidiary of Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) manufacturer HFCL Ltd., has secured an order worth Rs. 101.82 crore to supply of OFC to the Indian Army. This information was communicated by HFCL in its stock exchange filing dated 27th August 2025.

Under this contract, HTL will supply tactical Optical Fiber Cable along with related military-grade accessories to the Indian Army. According to the company’s filing, the cables will be manufactured and delivered as per customer specifications, with execution expected to be completed by August 2026.

The OFC to be supplied is capable of withstanding weight of heavy armoured vehicles. The company will supply specialized military-grade connectors to the Indian Army, which have been designed to perform in extreme environments.

HFCL Limited’s quarterly revenue stood at Rs. 871.02 crore, and the company reported a loss of Rs. 29.3 crore during Q1 FY26. The company also mentioned that its order book stood at Rs. 10,480 crore at the end of Q1 FY26.
