Netherlands based flying car-maker PAL-V has signed a MoU with Gujarat Government for setting up a manufacturing plant in the state. PAL-V stands for Personal Air Land Vehicle. This would be first unit of the company to be set in India.
The target set for commencing production is 2021 and cars manufactured would also be exported to other nations including to the United States and Europe.
The state government shall help the company in getting all necessary approvals from the Central government. The MoU was signed by state Industries Principal Secretary MK Das and Carlo Maasbommel, Vice President of PAL-V’s international business development in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
