Genus Power Subsidiary Wins Rs. 2,209 Cr. Order for Advanced Metering System

Genus Power Infrastructures Limited through its wholly-owned subsidiary has secured an order worth Rs. 2,209.84 crore for development of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI). The company shared this information in its press release dated 8th July 2023.

Scope of work in this order includes supplying, installing, and commissioning 21.77 Lakhs Smart Prepaid Meters on Design, Build, Finance, Own, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOOT) basis.

The company stated that many State Electricity Boards (SEBs) have issued requests and solicited bids to install smart meters under Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
