Genus Power Subsidiary Secures Rs. 2,247 Cr. Order for Advanced Metering System

Genus Power Infrastructure Ltd. through its wholly-owned step-down subsidiary has won an order worth Rs. 2,247.37 crore for the development of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI). This information was shared by the company in its press release dated 31st August 2023.

Scope of work in this order includes supplying, installing and commissioning 24.18 lakh Smart Prepaid Meters, including Overhead Transformer (OT) meters on Design, Build, Finance, Own, Operate and Transfer (DBFOOT) basis. Field Management Services (FMS) of the aforementioned smart meters is also included in the scope of work. The company has won this order under Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
