GE Vernova T&D India Reports 57% Order Growth in Q1 FY26

GE Vernova T&D India Limited recorded an order inflow of Rs. 1,620 crore during the first quarter of financial year 2025–26, marking a 57% YoY increase compared to Rs. 1,030 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.


As of 30th June 2025, the company’s order book had reached Rs. 12,964.9 crore, reflecting its growing business momentum and strong demand across markets.

Major Orders Secured by GE Vernova T&D India in Q1 FY26

During Q1 FY26, the company achieved significant progress in the domestic market. The company secured an order for supplying a 420 KV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) to Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for a project in Madhya Pradesh.

Additionally, GE Vernova received an order for a 420/245 KV GIS from a private EPC contractor in Maharashtra.

Further expanding its domestic footprint, GE Vernova T&D India also won multiple contracts from private developers for the supply of 765 KV transformers and reactors in Rajasthan and Gujarat.

GE Vernova’s Expansion Across International Markets

GE Vernova T&D India continued to strengthen its global presence during Q1 FY26. The company received several orders for both Air Insulated Substation (AIS) and Gas Insulated Substation equipment from clients located in Europe, South-East Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. These contracts underscore the company’s capabilities and the growing demand for advanced power infrastructure solutions worldwide.

GE Vernova T&D India’s Timely Execution of Projects

In addition to securing new orders, GE Vernova T&D India successfully executed several key projects during the quarter. Among the highlights was the commissioning of a 765 KV AIS and a 400 KV GIS bay for Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) at Kotra in Uttar Pradesh, which added 500 MVA of transformation capacity to the national grid.

The company also commissioned 765 KV GIS bays for Adani at Khavda in Gujarat, along with 1,500 MVA of Inter-Connecting Transformer (ICT) capacity and a 330 MVAR reactor, further strengthening grid infrastructure in the region.

Reflecting on the company’s performance, Mr. Sandeep Zanzaria, Managing Director & CEO of GE Vernova T&D India, said “We delivered a strong and productive first quarter of FY 2025-26, driven by continued momentum as India modernizes its grid to improve reliability, accommodate renewable energy sources, and meet increasing electricity demands from various sectors”.

During Q1 FY26, the company reported a revenue of Rs. 1,330 crore and Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 291.20 crore.
