GE T&D India Wins Orders over Rs. 800 Cr. Collectively
GE T&D India Limited has secured two orders together valued at 90 million EUR (approximately Rs. 811 crore). These orders comprise a EUR 64 million order from GE Grid Solutions’ French subsidiary, Grid Solutions SAS, and a EUR 26 million order from GE Grid Solutions’ Middle East subsidiary, Grid Solutions Middle East FZE. Both of these orders are for the ‘supply and supervision’ of high voltage products, and have a specified completion period of 2 years.
In its stock filing dated 3rd July 2024, GE T&D India shared that as both these orders have been received from group companies, they will be executed at ‘arm’s length’. Further, the filing added that both of these orders in turn constitute projects which are being fulfilled by Grid Solutions’ aforementioned subsidiaries for their respective clients.
GE T&D India has seen a substantial increase in order inflow. During entire FY-24, the company booked new orders amounting to Rs. 5,970 crore as compared to Rs. 2,740 crore in FY-23.
