Finolex Cables Appoints New CFO & CEO
Finolex Cables Limited has announced leadership changes, including the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the elevation of its Dy. Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The company shared this information in a stock exchange filing dated 28th May 2026.
Mr. Sachin Naik has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of the company. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree. Mr. Naik began his professional career in 1997 as an Accounts Officer at Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited. He took up his first CXO-level role in 2012 when he was appointed as CFO at SWAL Corporation Ltd. Over the course of his career, Mr. Naik spent more than 16 years at UPL Limited, serving in various positions, including General Manager and Finance Head. Before joining Finolex Cables, he was serving as CFO of Shalimar Paints.
In addition to the CFO appointment, Finolex Cables has promoted Mr. Mahesh Viswanathan to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Previously, he served as Deputy CEO and Chief Financial Officer of the company. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Mr. Viswanathan brings over 43 years of post-qualification experience. He has been associated with Finolex Cables for the past 18 years, during which he has held several key leadership roles across the organization.
