Envision Wind Power Tech. to Supply 116 MW of Wind Turbines to Blueleaf Energy
Envision Wind Power Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. has secured an order for supplying 116 MW of wind turbines to Blueleaf Energy Asia Pte Limited. These turbines will be deployed at Blueleaf Energy’s wind-solar hybrid power project in Madhya Pradesh.
As per this order, Envision Wind Power Technologies will be responsible for supplying wind turbines of collectively 116 MW rated power generation capacity. Each of these turbines will have a power generation capacity of 3.3 MW and will be supplied from Envision’s EN-156 series.
Commenting on the manufacturing and assembling of wind turbines, Mr. RPV Prasad, CEO of Envision Wind Power Technologies India, said “We would be assembling the Nacelle and Hubs at our Pune factory, Blades from our own or vendor’s factory in India, and sourcing tower and its components from reputed manufacturers in Maharashtra and Gujarat”.
Further, Blueleaf Energy will commence construction of its wind-solar hybrid power project in 2024 and the construction is expected to be completed in 2025.
Commenting on this project, Mr. Amiram Roth-Deblon, Chief Operating Officer of Blueleaf Energy, said “Combining wind and solar and co-locating their power generation facilities, our plant will generate clean energy 24/7, reducing the need for grid expansion, and lowering the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE)”.
