Envision Energy Secures 350 MW Wind Project from Serentica Renewables

Envision Energy has won an order from Gurgaon-headquartered Serentica Renewables to develop a wind power project of 350 MW capacity. This project will be developed in Maharashtra. Envision shared this information through a LinkedIn post dated 19th June 2023

Scope of work for Envision Energy includes supply and installation of 106 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), each of 3.3 MW capacity. Each of these WTGs will have a rotor diamter of 156 metre and a hub height of 140 metre. Speaking about the components for this project, Mr. RPV Prasad, CEO of Envision Wind Power Technologies India said, “Nacelles and hubs for the wind turbines will be assembled at Pune, blades at the plants located at Trichy or Bengaluru and towers sourced from manufacturers based in Maharashtra”.

This upcoming plant is estimated to produce 1.25 billion units of renewable energy per year, and is expected to be commissioned by December 2024.
