DICABS Wins Rs. 185 Cr. Conductor Supply Order from Adani
Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd. (DICABS) has secured a conductor supply order valued at Rs. 184.67 crore from Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (AESL). This information was shared by DICABS in its stock filing dated 8th September 2025.
Aforementioned order involves supplying 4,215 Km of Al-59 Zebra type* conductor to AESL by 31st May 2026, which will be deployed for evacuation of energy from Khavda RE park project’s phase IV. This conductor supply order specifically pertains to Khavda IV-D transmission project, which is being developed at an estimated cost of Rs. 3,455 crore to evacuate 7 GW of Renewable Energy. AESL had secured this project from PFC Consulting Ltd. in November 2024.
DICABS’ stock gained 3.2% the day after its announcement of the aforementioned order win. The company’s shares were trading at Rs. 142.31 apiece on the day of this order win, which rose to Rs. 146.84 apiece on the next trading day.
DICABS is a frequent supplier of Adani Group, and has won orders from Adani in the past. In July 2025, the company won a Rs. 1,349 crore order from AESL for the supply of high-performance Al-59 conductors. Before this, in July 2024, DICABS had received another major order for conductors from AESL. The company has also supplied cables to Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL) in the past.
*Zebra type conductors have a galvanised Steel core, which is surrounded by stranded Aluminium. This type of conductor is typically used for 765 KV transmission lines.
