Delton Cables reported a revenue of Rs. 69.53 crore from operations during Q1 of FY-24 against Rs. 64.44 crore clocked in Q1 of FY-23. This represents a sluggish YoY growth in revenue, with the company’s Q1 top line growing merely by 7.9%.

Profit of the company took a major hit, sliding by 47.08% to Rs. 1.27 crore in Q1 of FY-24 as compared to Rs. 2.40 crore clocked in Q1 of FY-23.

Delton’s Earnings Per Share (EPS) dropped to Rs. 1.47 in Q1 of FY-24 from Rs. 2.77 in Q1 of FY-23.

From Q4 FY-23 to Q1 FY-24, Delton Cables’ revenue dropped by 13.63% from Rs. 80.50 crore, which was logged for Q4 of FY-23.

The company, however, reported net profit in Q1 of FY-24 after reporting a net loss of Rs. 4.33 crore in Q4 of FY-23.

Delton’s Share Price Drops 5% Post Announcement of Financials

Delton Cables’ share price dropped by 4.97% after the company announced its financials for the opening quarter of FY-24.

The company’s 10-year Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) stands at 9% for revenue and 11% for profit respectively.
