Apar Industries Appoints Mr. Chandrashekhar Shrotri as its Cable Business CEO
Apar Industries Limited has appointed Mr. Chandrashekhar Shrotri as Chief Executive Officer for Cable Solutions. The company shared this information in its stock exchange filing dated 4th December 2025.
Mr. Shrotri holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Government Polytechnic, Pune (1985). He then completed an Executive Program for Business Managers from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) in 2004, followed by an Executive Program at Harvard Business School in 2015. In the same year, he also pursued an Advanced Management Course at the Siemens Leadership Excellence Centre, China, and later in 2021 completed the NextGen General Management Leadership Program at the Siemens Global Leadership Centre, Germany.
With over 35 years of experience across Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Account Management, Channel Management, Product Management, and General Management, Mr. Shrotri brings expertise to his new role.
He began his career in 1985 as a plant maintenance engineer trainee at Sandvik, before joining Pefco Industries in 1986 as a Design and Sales Engineer, where he worked for three years. He then served as a Sales Executive at Bhartia Cutler-Hammer for over two years. In 1991, he joined Larsen & Toubro (L&T) as a Sales Executive for LV switchgear, and spent more than four years with the company. Mr. Shrotri’s longest tenure was with Siemens, which he joined in 1996 as a Sales Engineer for Pune region. Over the years, he held several key leadership roles there, including Chief Manager (Marketing), Vice President (Control Products) and Executive Vice President.
Before joining Apar Industries, he served as Segment CEO, overseeing operations across 22 countries in South Asia, South East Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Australia.
