Air Liquide Inaugurates Gas Plant in Mathura


Air Liquide India, an industrial gases manufacturer, has inaugurated an Air Seperation Unit (ASU) in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh to produce industrial and medical grade gases. This plant has been developed with an investment of Rs. 350 crore.

Air Liquide’s ASU can produce 12 tonnes of liquid Argon, 45 tonnes of liquid Nitrogen, and 300 tonnes of liquid oxygen and medical oxygen per day. The company’s plant will support industrial and healthcare activities. It will supply industrial gases to Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. Further, the medical grade oxygen will be supplied to hospitals directly.

Speaking about this new plant, Air Liquide India Managing Director Benoit Renard said, “This new plant is a key step in our expansion, fostering growth in both industrial and healthcare sectors throughout the region“. Air Liquide had announced investment to develop this plant in January 2022.
