Ahluwalia Contracts Wins Rs. 894 Cr. Terminal Building Construction Contract in Varanasi

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Limited has received an order from Airports Authority of India (AAI) for construction of a new terminal building at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi. The estimated development cost for this project is Rs. 893.48 crore. This order will be executed under Package I of the Varanasi Airport new terminal building project.

Scope of work includes construction of the terminal building and related activities on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis. Completion of the project is expected within approximately 36 months. The company will also be responsible for Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services for the terminal building for a period of five years.

Earlier in June 2024, Union Cabinet had approved the expansion of Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport at an estimated cost of Rs. 2,869.65 crore. Recently, Ahluwalia Contracts (India) had also won an order from AAI to construct airport terminal building at Darbhanga airport.
