Adani Ports Breaks Ground for Rs. 600 Cr. Logistics Park in Kochi
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ) held the groundbreaking ceremony for its upcoming logistics park in Kalamassery, Kochi. This information was shared by the company in its press release dated 23rd August, 2025.
The company will be investing Rs. 600 crore in developing the park, which will be spread across 70 acres. As per the company, the logistics park is designed to lower transportation costs, enable just-in-time operations, and boost export efficiency. As per APSEZ, this logistics park will cater to key sectors including e-commerce, FMCG, automotive, and retail.
Once operational, the park is expected to create approximately 1,500 job opportunities in the region.
Commenting on this development, Mr. Ashwani Gupta, Whole-Time Director & CEO of APSEZ, said “As one of our largest effort in this direction, the Park will play a pivotal role in strengthening our logistics presence in southern India, supporting local manufacturing and regional growth”.
