ABB India Adds New Production Line in Bengaluru Facility
ABB India Limited has announced the addition of a new production line at its existing facility in Peenya, Bengaluru. The company stated this information in its stock filing dated 11th May 2023.
The new line in ABB’s existing facility will manufacture variable-speed drive modules ranging from 75 KWh to 250 KWh. The aforementioned modules will be used with electric motors in various industries.
Commenting on this development, Mr. A.R Madhusudan, President of ABB India said, “ABB drives manufactured in India will contribute to country’s energy efficiency journey and its goals across industries, buildings, and infrastructure”.
