Bansal Wire to Invest Rs. 150 Cr. in Gujarat; Expand Dadri Plant

Bansal Wire Industries Limited, a manufacturer of stainless steel wires, has announced an investment of Rs. 150 crore for the construction of a new stainless steel wire manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat. The company has already acquired 40 acres of land to establish the proposed greenfield plant.

Bansal Wire’s Sanand Plant to Have 90,000 TPA Capacity

The company’s upcoming plant in Sanand will have a manufacturing capacity of 90,000 tonnes per annum, producing low-carbon steel wires as well as stainless steel wires. Bansal Wire is expected to commence commercial production at this facility by the third or fourth quarter of FY27.

Expansion also planned at Dadri Plant; Add Another 60,000 TPA

In addition to the upcoming Sanand plant, the company is also planning to expand its manufacturing capacity at its Dadri facility in a phased manner. Bansal Wire inaugurated the Dadri plant in April 2025, which is regarded as India’s largest single-location stainless steel wire manufacturing facility, with an initial production capacity of 3.6 lakh Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA). The company has further planned to add an additional capacity of 60,000 tonnes at its Dadri plant as part of the expansion.

Bansal Wire’s Total Capacity to Reach 7.7 lakh TPA by 2027

With the completion of both the aforementioned projects, Bansal Wire’s overall manufacturing capacity is expected to increase from 6.2 lakh tonnes to approximately 7.7 lakh tonnes per annum.

New Product Launches Strengthen Bansal Wire’s Market Presence

Apart from Bansal Wire’s aforementioned expansions, the company’s recent developments include the launch of its new product, Induction Hardened and Tempered (IHT) wire for the automotive industry in October 2025. Additionally, the company also launched Low Relaxation Prestressed Concrete (LRPC) steel strand wire in December 2025.

These new product launches and expansions have strengthened the company’s footprint among India’s wires, infrastructure and electrical cables sectors.
