Nimish Taterh Bids Farewell to Axis Electrical: 30 Years of Impactful Leadership

In a heartfelt announcement through a Linkedin post, Mr. Nimish Taterh, Co-Founder and former Director of Axis Electrical Components (India) Pvt. Ltd., has officially stepped down from his role and exited his entire shareholding in the company. His departure marks a new beginning to Mr. Nimish’s remarkable career in the Indian Electrical manufacturing industry.

From Vision to Manufacture In India to Becoming a Global Supplier

Mr. Taterh is a BE in Production Engineering pass out of 1989 batch from the reputed Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune University. After initial gathering of experience in the industry he alogwith Mr. Kanderp Khandwala co-founded Axis Electrical Components (I) Pvt. Ltd. in 1994.

Since then he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s trajectory. With a focus on quality, certifications, and international standards Mr. Tarteh and Mr. Kanderp expanded company’s product portfolio in the Earthing and Lightning Safety Equipment range and other electrical accessories like Cable Glands, Lugs etc. Axis Electricals were one of the first exporters of electrical hardware from India.

Axis Electricals now serves in over 80 countries alongwith presence in India.

As Marketing Director, Mr. Taterh spearheaded brand development, corporate strategy, and global expansion. His leadership included commitment to long-term value creation, a philosophy he emphasized in his farewell note:

What began as a vision 30+ years ago grew into a living, thriving organisation — built not with shortcuts or speculation, but with grit, belief, and long-term commitment.

While Mr. Taterh has not yet disclosed the specifics of his next venture, his closing words hint at a future filled with purpose and possibility.

Meanwhile, as per official communication from Axis Electrical Mr. Nimish Taterh has handed over his responsibilities in India to Mr. Reetesh Agrawal, an industry expert with 20+ years of experience. Mr. Kanderp Khandwala will continue as Chairman and Managing Director, alongside Mr. Sahil Khandwala as Director.
