NALCO’s Brijendra Singh Assumes Additional Charge as Director (Commercial)

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO)’s Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD), Mr. Brijendra Pratap Singh, has assumed additional charge as Director (Commercial) of the company with effect from 1st July 2025. NALCO shared this information in its stock filing dated 1st July 2025.

Mr. Singh completed Bachelors in Mining Machinery Engineering from IIT Dhanbad (earlier known as Indian School of Mines) in 1989. He also holds an MBA degree in marketing. Mr. Singh has over 35 years of working experience in mining and Steel sectors. He started his career in 1989 at Iron ore mine of Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL)‘s Bhilai Steel plant. He has also worked at SAIL’s Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL), Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP), and IISCO Steel Plant (ISP). Before joining NALCO as its CMD, Mr. Singh was working as Director-in-Charge at SAIL’s Burnpur and Durgapur Steel Plants, and was a Board Member at SAIL.

Currently, he is also serving as Director in the Boards of two joint venture (JV) companies of NALCO, namely Khanij Bidesh India Limited (KABIL) and Utkarsha Aluminium Dhatu Nigam Limited.
