Bajaj Electricals Appoints Mr. Sanjay Sachdeva as MD & CEO
Bajaj Electricals Limited has appointed Mr. Sanjay Sachdeva as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for a period of three years. Mr. Sachdeva will assume this position at Bajaj Electricals from 15th April 2025.
Mr. Sachdeva completed B.Tech in Electrical Engineering in 1987 from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi). Thereafter, he pursued a master’s course in management from Indian Insitute of Management, Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) in 1989.
Post his education, Mr. Sanjay Sachdeva began his career with Hindustan Unilever as a management trainee in 1989. He worked with Unilever for over 33 years and held various leadership positions across sales, marketing, and general management. Before being appointed as Bajaj Electricals’ MD & CEO, Mr. Sachdeva was serving as Unilever Japan’s MD & CEO. He had also handled the company’s business operations across Dubai in UAE, Shanghai in China and Sao Paulo in Brazil.
