KEC International Wins T&D Orders Worth 1,423 Cr. in the Middle East
KEC International Limited, a major EPC company, has secured orders worth Rs. 1,423 crore through its Transmission & Distribution business in Saudi Arabia. This information was shared by the company in its press release dated 5th September 2024.
KEC International will be responsible for laying 380 KV transmission lines in Saudi Arabia. Scope of work in these orders include design, supply, and installation of transmission lines. Commenting on these order wins, Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd. said “These orders in Saudi Arabia along with the earlier orders in UAE and Oman have further reinforced our leadership in the Middle East and substantially enhanced our international T&D order book”. He further added that with these orders KEC’s Year-To-Date (YTD) order book stands over Rs. 11,300 crore.
On the day of announcement of these orders, KEC International’s stock price was up by 5.97% as compared to the share price on previous trading day. The company’s share price stood at 932.10 apiece on the trading day before the announcement of these orders and Rs. 987.75 apiece on the day of announcement.
