NCRTC Appoints Mr. Shalabh Goel as Managing Director

Mr. Shalabh Goel has been appointed as the Managing Director (MD) of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC). NCRTC announced this appointment in a press release dated 2nd July 2024.

Mr. Goel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Roorkee and a post-graduate degree in Energy Studies from IIT Delhi. He belongs to the 1989 batch of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE). With a career spanning more than 30 years, Mr. Goel has held various significant roles, including Executive Director in the Ministry of Railways, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Mumbai Division in Central Railway, and Chief Electrical Locomotive Engineer in Central Railway.

Prior to his appointment at NCRTC, Mr. Goel served as the Senior Deputy General Manager cum Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at Western Railway.
