Vikram Solar to Supply 1 GW of Solar Modules to JSW Neo Energy

Vikram Solar Ltd., a solar module manufacturer, has won an order for supplying 1 GW of solar power modules. These solar modules will be deployed at JSW Neo Energy’s solar power project sites in Karnataka, Gujarat and Rajasthan.

As per this contract, Vikram Solar will be supplying its advanced Hypersol N-type TopCon glass-to-glass modules each of which have a power output of 580 Wp and above. These modules will be manufactured at Vikram Solar’s manufacturing plants in Falta, West Bengal and Oragadam, Chennai.

Commenting on the modules that will be supplied to JSW Neo Energy, Mr. Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director, Vikram Solar said “Engineered for enhanced efficiency, these modules are ideal for large-scale solar installations”.

Vikram Solar has a capacity of manufacturing about 3.5 GW of solar modules. The company is planning to increase its production capacity to 10.5 GW by FY-26 and further to 15.5 GW by FY-27. Some of the recent order wins of Vikram Solar include supplying of 393.9 MW of solar modules to NLC India.

Some of the major order wins of JSW Neo Energy include development of 400 MW solar power project for NTPC and setting up of 300 MW solar power project for Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL).
