Sterlite Power Wins Orders Collectively Worth Rs. 1,200 Cr. in Q2 of FY-25
Sterlite Power has secured orders totaling Rs. 1,200 crore in the second quarter of FY25. These orders were received by the company’s Global Products and Services (GPS) division, which focuses on manufacturing and supplying power conductors, cables, and Optical Ground Wires (OPGW).
Some of the orders won during Q2 FY25 include supplying high-performance conductors and Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) products at an estimated cost of Rs. 800 crore during Q2 of FY-25. The company also secured orders to supply conductors for Green Energy Transmission projects such as Angul-Paradeep, Yalwar, and Runija-Indore Transmission Lines.
Additionally, in its Power Cables business, Sterlite Power secured orders worth a total of Rs. 380 crore for a range of Medium Voltage (MV), High Voltage (HV), and Extra High Voltage (EHV) cables, primarily for state utilities and Public Sector Units (PSUs).
The export segment also saw strong demand, with orders for high-performance green products from the USA, European Union, Africa, and the Middle East.
Sterlite Power has been rated ‘A’ by Credit Rating Information Services of India Limited (CRISIL) on long term basis and ‘A1’ on short term basis. These ratings specify that the company carries low credit risk.
