KEC’s Order Book Crosses Rs. 37,000 Cr., 55% YTD Orders from Domestic Market
KEC International Ltd. has reported an order book of Rs. 37,440 crore as of 31st December 2024. Domestic orders constitute 67% of the company’s order book while foreign orders form the remaining 33% of KEC’s order book.
Additionally, the company has also been declared as Lowest (L1) bidder for projects worth over Rs. 4,000 crore collectively.
KEC’s Transmission & Distribution (T&D) orders form 59% of the company’s order book while Civil business orders constitute 25% of the order book. Additionaly, transportation segment of the company accounted for 11% of the order book. Renewables segment of the company accounted for 3% of KEC’s order book, whereas orders under the company’s Cables business and Oil & Gas business contributed collectively 2% to the company’s order book.
Commenting on the company’s growth, Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International said “We have delivered a good performance for the quarter, reflected in the significant growth in profitability, record order intake and a robust order book. Despite challenges such as ongoing manpower shortages and geopolitical uncertainties, we achieved growth in our revenues”.
KEC also mentioned that its Year-to-Date (YTD) order inflow has reached Rs. 22,090 crore. Domestic orders contributed 55% of the total YTD order inflow while the orders from foreign countries accounted for the remaining 45%.
The company’s Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Civil businesses accounted for approximately 72% and 10% of the order inflow, respectively. Further, the transportation segment of the company brought in 10%, renewables segment of the company secured 4%, and cables segment of KEC won 4% of the YTD order inflow respectively.
