KEC Wins Orders Worth Rs. 1,509 Cr.; YTD Orders at 7,000 Cr.
KEC International Ltd. has secured new orders worth a total of Rs. 1,509 crore across its Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Transportation, and Cables & Conductors business verticals. The company shared this information in its stock exchange filing dated 30th July 2025.
In the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) segment, KEC International has received an order for laying a 400 KV transmission line in India. The company has also won a contract for laying 500/400/220 KV overhead transmission lines in the overseas market, though the company has not specified the location. Additionally, KEC will supply towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas and the Middle East.
Under its Transportation vertical, the company has secured an order for the implementation of the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) under the Indian Railways’ ‘Kavach’ initiative. ‘Kavach’ is a train safety and collision avoidance system designed to enhance railway safety.
In the Cables business, KEC International has received orders to supply various types of cables and conductors for projects in both India and overseas markets.
Commenting on these order wins, Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International, said, “We are delighted by the order wins secured across our businesses. With these orders, our YTD order intake now stands at over Rs. 7,000 crores”.
