Jaya Hind Industries Announces Rs. 200 Cr. Investment to Expand Die-Casting Facility in TN

Jaya Hind Industries (JHI), an end-to-end solutions provider for aluminium castings, has announced an investment of Rs. 200 crore to expand its aluminium die-casting plant located at Kottaiyur Village in Thiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu.

As part of this expansion, the company will construct a new shed spanning approximately 13,000 square metres to house additional die-casting equipment. The project includes installation of High-Pressure Die-Casting (HPDC) machines with capacities ranging from 1,400 tonnes to 4,400 tonnes. Upon completion, the facility will operate as a fully vertically integrated manufacturing unit.

Following the expansion, the plant’s total installed aluminium die-casting capacity is expected to reach around 20,000 Tonnes Per Annum (TPA).

According to the company, the expansion is being driven by a strong pipeline of new orders, which has resulted in the full utilisation of the existing capacity. Commenting on the development, Mr. Prasan Firodia, Managing Director, Jaya Hind Industries, said, “With strong order momentum across domestic and export markets, the Chennai facility will play a pivotal role in augmenting our die-casting capacity while deepening our vertical integration”.
