Finolex Cables Announces FY-25 Results: Revenue Jumps 6%, PAT Grows 7%

Finolex Cables Limited [NSE: FINCABLES, BOM: 500144], an Indian manufacturer of cables, Copper rods, switchgear, and Fast-Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG), has announced its financial results for Q4 FY25 and the entire FY25.
Finolex Cables’ Standalone Financials: Q4 FY25 & FY25
During Q4 of FY25, Finolex Cables clocked a standalone revenue of Rs. 1,594.58 crore from operations, and a corresponding Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 151.86 crore.
As for the entire 2024-25 fiscal, the company reported a topline of Rs. 5,318.89 crore and a standalone PAT of Rs. 544.40 crore.

Finolex Cables logged a revenue of Rs. 1,594.58 crore during Q4 of FY25, which represents 13.82% Year-over-Year (YoY) growth from its Q4 FY24 revenue of Rs. 1,401.02 crore. Q4 FY25 PAT of the company increased by 3.01% YoY to Rs. 191.71 crore in FY25 from Rs. 186.10 crore in FY24.
For the entire FY25, Finolex Cables’ revenue from operations stood at Rs. 5,318.89 crore, 6.07% higher than its FY24 revenue of Rs. 5,014.39 crore. Profit of the company was up by 7.53% to Rs. 700.77 crore in FY25 from Rs. 651.69 crore in FY24.
Earnings Per Share (EPS) of the company were reported as Rs. 12.53 for Q4 of FY25, and Rs. 45.82 for the entire FY25.


Finolex Cables’ QoQ Financial Performance: Q4 FY25 vs. Q3 FY25
Finolex Cables’ revenue was up by 34.89% on a Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ) basis, from Rs. 1,182.11 crore clocked during Q3 of FY25. The company’s PAT grew by 30.19% QoQ from Rs. 147.25 crore which was reported during Q3 of FY25.
Segment-Wise Revenue Comparison: Q4 FY25 vs. Q4 FY24 & FY25 vs. FY24

Electrical Cables: Finolex Cables’ Q4 FY25 revenue from its Electrical Cables business segment stood at Rs. 1,391.01 crore. This represents a YoY 15.85% growth from its Rs. 1,200.68 crore revenue which was clocked during Q4 of FY24.
Considering the entire year, this segment brought in Rs. 4,499.01 crore revenue during FY25, as compared to Rs. 4,221.63 crore revenue during FY24. This shows that revenue from this business grew by 6.57% YoY.
Communication Cables: Quarterly revenue from this segment slipped by 3.95% to Rs. 122.89 crore in Q4 FY-25 from Rs. 127.95 crore logged for Q4 of FY24. Finolex Cables’ annual Communication Cables segment revenue decreased slightly by 4.43% to Rs. 507.67 crore in FY-25 from Rs. 531.20 crore reported for FY24.
Copper Rods: Q4 revenue from this segment was almost flat, increasing marginaly by 0.20% to Rs. 481.51 crore in Q4 FY25 against Rs. 480.53 crore in Q4 of FY24. The company’s revenue from this vertical during entire FY25 stood at Rs. 1,684.14 crore as compared to Rs. 1,744.24 crore during FY24, representing a decrease of 3.45%.
Others: This segment comprises Finolex Cables’ switchgear, conduit pipes and Fast Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG). Finolex Cables’ ‘Other’ business revenue was reported as Rs. 65.12 crore for Q4 of FY25, which translates a minor 1.86% YoY growth from its Rs. 63.93 crore revenue from this segment for Q4 FY24. During the entire FY25, Finolex Cables brought in a revenue of Rs. 256.10 crore from this segment. This is 13.75% higher than the company’s FY24 ‘Others’ segment revenue of Rs. 225.15 crore.
Board of Directors Recommends FY-25 Dividend to Shareholders
Finolex Cables’ Board of Directors has recommended paying a 400% dividend on the face value of each share, which is Rs. 2. This equates to Rs. 8 per equity share. This dividend will be paid out to the shareholders after the approval at the Annual General Meeting of the company.
