Bansal Wire Industries Launches Low Relaxation Prestressed Concrete Wire

Bansal Wire Industries Ltd., one of India’s largest producers of Steel wires and Galvanised Iron (GI) wires, has launched its Low Relaxation Prestressed Concrete (LRPC) Steel strand wire. These wires are a part of the company’s speciality wires portfolio.
The company communicated the launch of its LRPC wires through a stock filing dated 2nd December 2025.
LRPC Wires Produced at Bansal Wire’s Dadri Plant
Bansal Wire’s newly launched Low Relaxation Pre-Stressed Concrete (LRPC) wires are manufactured at its flagship Dadri plant. These wires are used as industrial products in the construction sector to reinforce concrete structures such as bridges, beams, and slabs.
Bansal Wire’s Dadri plant, inaugurated in April 2025, is India’s largest Steel wire manufacturing facility as per the company. Prior to introducing the LRPC wires, the company had launched Induction Hardened and Tempered (IHT) Wire in October 2025 for the automotive industry.
According to the company’s official stock filing, “…this strategic move [launch of LRPC wire] will diversify our product portfolio and lead to a significant boost in sales supported by an expansion of 18,000 MT“.
Expansion Strategy and Investment Plans
In a recent interview, Mr. Pranav Bansal, Managing Director & CEO of Bansal Wire, said that the company has outlined a total investment plan of Rs. 3,500 crore over the next five years for speciality Steel wire production and regular capacity expansion across India. This plan includes setting up new greenfield projects and facilities in the western and southern regions of the country.
New Integrated Manufacturing Facility in Western India
Mr. Bansal mentioned that the company is developing a fully integrated manufacturing facility in western India to ensure faster delivery, improved logistics, and reduced transportation costs. This new plant will also enhance the company’s ability to efficiently serve customers in southern India.
Potential Expansion into Eastern India
According to Mr. Bansal, As part of its long-term growth strategy, Bansal Wire is also exploring opportunities to expand into eastern India. This move targets to strengthen its manufacturing and distribution footprint to build a robust, pan-India presence.
