HFCL Posts Impressive Q1 FY27 Financials with 2.2x Revenue Growth

Himachal Futuristic Communications Ltd. (HFCL) [NSE: HFCL, BOM: 500183], an Indian manufacturing company of Optical Fibre Cables (OFCs), has published its financial results for Q1 FY27.

The company reported a standalone revenue of Rs. 1,607.80 crore and Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 179.21 crore during Q1 FY27.

HFCL’s Q1 FY27 revenue from operations was Rs. 1,914.98 crore, which is 2.20 times the company’s Q1 FY26 revenue of Rs. 871.02 crore. Further, the company’s PAT stood at Rs. 245.64 crore during Q1 FY27 against loss of Rs. 29.30 crore during Q1 FY26.

Meanwhile, HFCL’s Earnings Per Share (EPS) for Q1 FY27 was Rs. 1.49 against Rs. -0.22 in Q1 FY26.
Quarterly Analysis of HFCL’s Financial Performance: Q1 FY27 vs. Q4 FY26
HFCL’s Q1 FY27 revenue exhibited an increase of 4.98% from its Q4 FY26 topline of Rs. 1,824.12 crore. PAT of the company grew by 33.17% on a Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ) basis. During Q4 of FY26 the company’s PAT stood at Rs. 184.45 crore.

Telecom Products: Revenue from Telecom Products segment of the company grew 2.92 times to Rs. 1,589.53 crore during Q1 FY27 from Rs. 543.48 crore in Q1 of FY26.
Defence Product & Services: The company earned Rs. 23.74 crore as revenue during Q1 FY27 and Q1 FY26 both.
Turnkey Contracts and Services: HFCL generated a revenue of Rs. 280.32 crore from its Turnkey Contracts and Services segment during Q1 of FY27. This reflects a YoY decrease of 4.36% from the company’s Rs. 293.11 crore revenue from this segment reported for Q1 of FY26.
HFCL’s Order Book Touches Rs. 26,665 Cr., Capacity Expansion on Track
Commenting on the company’s Q1 FY27 financial results, Mr Mahendra Nahata, Managing Director, HFCL, said: “ I am pleased to share that the Company has delivered its highest-ever quarterly Revenue, Profitability and the Order Book during Q1FY27, underscoring the strength of our execution, expanding product portfolio and growing market opportunities”. The company’s order book stood at around Rs. 26,665 crore as of 30th June, 2026.
The company is also on track to increase its optical fibre manufacturing capacity to 34 million fibre km from 28 million fibre km and optical fibre cable capacity to 43 million fibre km from 34 million fibre km.
