Havells India Reports Q1 FY27 Financials: Revenue Grows 19.48%, PAT down 16.64%

Havells India Limited [NSE: HAVELLS, BOM: 517354], a major Indian cable, wire, and FMEG manufacturer, has announced its financial results for Q1 FY27.

As per Havells’ Q1 FY27 standalone financial report, the company reported revenue of Rs. 6,509.97 crore and a corresponding Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 298.43 crore.

YoY Analysis of Consolidated Financials: Q1 FY27 vs. Q1 FY26

Havells’ consolidated revenue from operations in Q1 FY27 stood at Rs. 6,518.19 crore, a growth of 19.48% Year-over-Year (YoY) from Q1 FY26’s revenue of Rs. 5,455.35 crore. As for Q1 FY27’s consolidated PAT of Rs. 289.71 crore, a decrease of 16.64% YoY was observed from Q1 FY26’s PAT of Rs. 347.53 crore.
Moreover, the company’s Earnings Per Share for Q1 FY27 stood at Rs. 4.63.

QoQ Analysis of Consolidated Financials: Q1 FY27 vs. Q1 FY26
Quarter-over-Quarter analysis of Havells’ Q1 FY27 consolidated revenue highlighted a downward trend of 2.79% from the previous quarter. Q4 FY26’s revenue stood at Rs. 6,705.20 crore. The company’s corresponding PAT showed a steep decline of 59.95% QoQ from Q4 FY26’s PAT of Rs. 723.39 crore.
Havells India’s Segment-Wise Revenue Performance: Q1 FY27 vs. Q1 FY26

Switchgear: Havells’ switchgear business segment brought in a revenue of Rs. 607.68 crore in Q1 FY27. In this quarter, the Switchgear vertical was down 3.52% YoY compared to Rs. 629.83 crore reported in Q1 FY26.
Cables: Majority of the company’s revenue in Q1 FY27 was gathered by its cables segment, accounting for 37.67% of total business. The segment exhibited a strong growth of 27.02% YoY, increasing to Rs. 2,455.62 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs. 1,933.22 crore in Q1 FY26.
Lighting & Fixtures: In Q1 FY27, this segment clocked a revenue of Rs. 400.62 crore, highlighting an increase of 5.38% YoY. Lighting & Fixtures segment’s revenue in Q1 FY26 was Rs. 380.15 crore.
Electrical Consumer Durables: Company’s ECD segment showcased a 11.88% YoY rise in revenue against Rs. 994.89 crore earned in Q1 FY26. ECD segment revenue in Q1 FY27 stood at Rs. 1,113.07 crore.
The company mentioned that Water Purifier and Personal Grooming businesses have been shifted to the ECD segment. These businesses were previously accounted for by the ‘Others’ segment.
Lloyd Consumer: Company’s Lloyd Consumer segment gathered a revenue of Rs. 1,457.44 crore in Q1 FY27, a healthy growth of 14.66% YoY from Rs. 1,271.11 crore reported in Q1 FY26.
Renewables: Havells has established ‘Renewables’ as a separate new segment in its financial report. This new Strategic Business Unit (SBU) includes Solar, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), Solar Pumps and EV Chargers (EVSE).
YoY analysis of renewables segment’s revenue of Rs. 314.34 crore in Q1 FY27 highlighted a robust growth of 235.87% from Q1 FY26’s revenue of Rs. 93.59 crore.
Further, the company mentioned, “The industry is experiencing strong tailwinds, and Havells is well-placed to capture the opportunity.”
Others: Following the restructuring of product categories, Havells’ ‘Others’ segment now primarily houses Motor and Pumps businesses.
In Q1 FY27, the Others segment recorded revenue of Rs. 169.42 crore, representing growth of 11.05% over Q1 FY26’s Rs. 152.56 crore.
