Bansal Wire Eyes Backward Integration, Posts 42% Revenue Growth in FY25

Bansal Wire Industries Ltd. [NSE: BANSALWIRE, BSE: 544209], one of India’s largest Stainless Steel (SS) wire manufacturer, has announced its plans for strengthening backward integration. The company also posted its financials for the quarter and year ended 31st March 2025.

Backward Integration with Rs. 600 Cr. Investment in Gujarat

Bansal Wire will be investing a total of Rs. 600 crore over FY26 and FY27 in Gujarat for setting up a 1.8 lakh tonne Steel plant and a 60,000 tonne low-Carbon Stainless Steel wire production facility. This facility is expected to be commissioned by September 2027 and sprawl over 42 acre, and will be located in Sanand. Land has already been acquired for this plant at a cost of Rs. 80-90 crore. This investment targets strengthening Bansal Wire’s backward integration through the import of Steel scrap (for making Steel rods) as well as through in-house production of Steel rod, which is the raw material used in Steel wire manufacturing.

Interestingly, the company inaugurated its enhanced Dadri plant in April 2025.

Bansal Wire’s Standalone Financials: Q4 FY25 & FY25

During Q4 of FY25, Bansal Wire Industries clocked a standalone revenue of Rs. 896.73 crore, and a corresponding Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 30.01 crore.

For the entire FY25, the company’s topline stood at Rs. 3,203.21 crore. Further, Bansal Wire’s PAT for the 2024-25 fiscal was reported as Rs. 125.16 crore.

Bansal Wire Industries’ consolidated Q4 revenue grew by 32.68% YoY to Rs. 940.20 crore in FY25 from Rs. 708.62 crore during FY24. The company’s Q4 PAT also followed the same upward trend, increasing by 35.68% to Rs. 33.12 crore in FY25 from Rs. 24.41 crore in FY24.

For the entire fiscal FY25, Bansal Wire Industries reported a revenue of Rs. 3,507.17 crore from operations, and a corresponding bottom line of Rs. 146.37 crore. While this represents a remarkable jump of 42.22% in FY25 annual revenue, there has been an exceptional growth by 94.54% in Bansal Wire’s annual PAT as compared to FY24. In FY24, the company had logged a revenue of Rs. 2,466.03 crore and a PAT of Rs. 75.24 crore.

Bansal Wire’s quarterly revenue remained almost flat on a Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ) basis, increasing marginally by 1.69% from its Q3 FY25 topline of Rs. 924.61 crore. Contrastingly, the company’s Q4 FY25 PAT slipped by 20.54% QoQ from its Q3 FY25 PAT of Rs. 41.68 crore.
